Expert Legal Guidance for Energy and Infrastructure Development

KMK Africa Advocates LLP's Projects, Energy, Infrastructure, and Finance practice advises clients on complex financing transactions, project structuring, energy mandates, and regulatory observance across Kenya's infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and financial services sectors. The practice applies economic analysis to legal and transactional work, enabling the team to work directly with the policy and commercial dimensions of major projects, development finance transactions, and structured finance mandates.

  • Energy advisory across renewable energy, solar, oil, gas, and power generation
  • Infrastructure structuring, including public-private partnership arrangements and concession agreements
  • Development finance transactions, including mandates supported by international development finance institutions
  • Debt structuring, capital raising, syndicated lending, and acquisition finance
  • Financial sector regulatory advisory, drawing on direct experience advising Kenyan financial regulators
  • Public finance, privatisation, and financial inclusion policy
  • Environmental, social, and governance advisory in project finance and investment transactions
